This Refund Policy describes how Algorithm, Inc handles refunds for our professional services.
Engagements covered
Algorithm, Inc delivers professional services under written Statements of Work ("SOW") that define scope, deliverables, milestones, and payment terms. This Refund Policy summarizes the principles; the executed SOW governs the specific engagement.
Discovery sprints
Discovery sprints are billed as a fixed fee. If, after the first week, you determine the engagement is not the right fit, you may terminate by written notice; we will refund the unearned portion on a pro-rated basis after deducting time already worked and any third-party costs incurred.
Time-and-materials engagements
Time-and-materials work is billed in arrears. You may terminate with the notice period defined in the SOW (typically 15 business days). No refunds apply to time already worked and approved on weekly timesheets.
Fixed-price builds
Fixed-price builds are tied to milestone acceptance. If a milestone is not accepted, we will remediate at our cost. If, after reasonable remediation, the milestone cannot be accepted, the unearned portion of that milestone is refundable.
Managed services
Managed-services subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Cancellation requires 30 days written notice; partial-month refunds are not provided.
How to request a refund
Email info@algorithmsolution.com with your account name, SOW reference, and the basis for the request. We respond within five business days.
Disputes
If we cannot resolve a refund request, the dispute resolution process in your SOW applies.
